College Admissions Coach

• Peter Levy is a seasoned college admissions coach who helps students transform strong ideas into compelling applications through strategic planning, thoughtful writing, and clear storytelling. He brings a journalist’s perspective to every application, helping students communicate who they are with clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
  
  Peter’s career has spanned more than two decades in education technology and media. He has served as Chief Operating Officer at Learning in Motion, Vice President at Wireless Generation, Vice President at Bigchalk.com, and Internet Strategist at Scholastic. Through Levy Consulting Group, he has also worked with leading organizations including Discovery Education, McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, Common Sense Media, and the New York City Department of Education.
  
  Peter has remained deeply involved in public education. For the past four years, he has served as Chair of the School Site Council at Aptos High School and previously served in the same capacity at Rio del Mar Elementary.
  
  Peter holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, completed additional graduate study in Education (Curriculum and Instruction), and earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. That journalism background continues to shape his coaching approach—helping every student discover and tell the story that is uniquely their own.
